Trax: Internship Tracker ("Trax," "the app," "we," "us") is designed with your privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
All data you enter into Trax is stored locally on your device only. This includes:
This data is never transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by us or any third party. We do not have access to your data and cannot see, collect, or retrieve it under any circumstances.
Trax requests access to your device's camera and/or photo library solely to power the Smart Scan feature, which reads text from a photo or screenshot to help you fill in application details. Images are processed entirely on your device using on-device text recognition. Images are not uploaded, stored remotely, or shared with us or any third party.
Trax uses local, on-device notifications to remind you of follow-up dates and application goals you set within the app. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device and do not involve any external notification service or data transmission.
Trax does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use cookies, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Trax does not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs any data collected during the purchase process.
Because all data remains on your device, we do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any third party, for any purpose.
You can delete any data within the app at any time by removing individual entries, or remove all app data by deleting the app from your device. Since data is stored locally, uninstalling the app permanently removes all associated data.
Trax is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children, consistent with the fact that the app does not collect data from anyone at all.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
